puppetmakerAs in we have no heat and little warm water. Our boiler guys have been out three times and it works for a little while and then nada. So our house is rather chilly. They are coming back today with yet another part that is needed to get the oil to the burner. Now the dishwasher and the clothes washer are connected to the 2nd hot water heater, which runs on gas. Sometime this house totally confuses me.
Kitty politics have gone up a notch again. Fig is a little bigger and a little bolder and the older fellows are making it clear that they are not kitten toys. Vanillie is being the best about it but she takes it too far and he bats her down. She is also chewing shoes like a puppy.
Other than that, things have been moving along. It has been a bit of a rough week with a bunch of bad news on top of bad news but we will go on. Somehow we find a way.
I might get to see some college football today. I want to see the Ohio State University game.
Ah they have arrived to fix the heat. Fingers crossed.
I am grateful that the kitten hasn’t been flattened by one of the big cats.

Date: 2010-11-13 02:45 pm (UTC)Oh the lovely kitten stage. At least two of our cats were chewers of all things. Not a thing was safe in our household for a while there. It will pass. Just by little mouthy some toys to chew on. And the older cats will settle once kitty knows its place in the pack. Been through this much with our cats here.
Hope whatever else is going on will be ok.
