I think you're absolutely brilliant, and I love hearing what you have to write about anything from the workings of fandom to daily news to just your own day. And it's always encouraging to notice that no matter what kind of awful things are happening, you take the time to acknowledge one thing you're grateful for every day. It's very encouraging to a chronic pessimist like myself. :)

I admit that I am a big pessimist myself. I have found that by making myself take a look at what is around me and finding one thing that I am grateful for, I see possibilities that I might not have.

I used to do that in my journal years ago, and it kind of fell into disuse. Perhaps I'll start it up again. I hate being such a downer all the time. You're inspirational. :)
