Yet another Meme

Compliments are a great way to boost a person's self esteem, they can raise your spirits when you're down and just generally make a person feel good.
So... leave me a complimenting comment! Am I a good listener? A good writer? Do I have mad rambling skills? You can make my day with just a few nice words. Then, be sure to post this in your own LJ so that others can do the same for you!

The way you end every post with what you are grateful for is inspiring.

Thank you. I like that I haven't had a day that I can't think of something to put in.

This is exactly what I was going to write. You make me think that things could always be worse, and we should all learn to count the "haves" just as much as the "have nots".

That is what it has done for me. Even when things seem to be totally going off the rails, there is still something to be grateful for.

It shows, I really look up to you as the kind of person I want to grow to be, multi-talented, devoted to family and friends and always optimistic.

I think you're absolutely brilliant, and I love hearing what you have to write about anything from the workings of fandom to daily news to just your own day. And it's always encouraging to notice that no matter what kind of awful things are happening, you take the time to acknowledge one thing you're grateful for every day. It's very encouraging to a chronic pessimist like myself. :)

I admit that I am a big pessimist myself. I have found that by making myself take a look at what is around me and finding one thing that I am grateful for, I see possibilities that I might not have.

I used to do that in my journal years ago, and it kind of fell into disuse. Perhaps I'll start it up again. I hate being such a downer all the time. You're inspirational. :)

Thank you. I started blogging so that my parents could keep up with Caroline and it kind of snowballed from there into what it is today

You've given me a new appreciation for puppets. And I am pleased I have someone with whom to share my love for Jim Henson. Your posts are always interesting and well-written. I enjoy reading them.

Thank you.

Henson still rocks.

Puppets are my passion and my vocation.

After dealing with so many children whose parents are totally focused on themselves, leaving their babies to raise themselves, it gives me hope and pleasure to be reminded that there are caring, savvy parents out there giving their children what they need to grow into decent, caring, positive adults. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you. I do try to be a good parent and raise my daughter the way my parents raised me.
