I have been trying to find some new artists that I might like. I have picked up some sound tracks and compilations and found a few but I thought I would throw it out to the group for ideas.

You might try Pandora.com. Basically, it's a pretty cool program. You put in the bands you like, and it plays those, plus suggests new ones according to the music you've inputted. They analyze not just the music, but the singers voices, the lyrics etc. They've come up with some pretty cool ones for me, from bands I've never heard of. I worked in a music store for quite a time and became familiar with a lot of off-the-wall stuff, but Pandora definitely found me some new music to love on. You can also have different 'stations' for instance I have 'rock', 'easy', 'fifties', 'dance, and 'world'. The easy and fifties genres sometimes cross modulate, but hey, I can see where that would happen LOL
