Crafty Tuesday Disheveled Norrington

A while back Peter gave a puppet to Michele Gomez of her character Missy from Doctor Who. She told me that the puppet was going on lots of adventures because her son loved playing with it. Her husband is Jack Davenport who I really liked in Smash and the Pirate movies. I asked her that if I was to make a Jack puppet so the Michele puppet would have a companion for her son to play with, which character would she want. Without hesitation she said, “Disheveled Norrington” which has since become the name of the puppet.

This coming weekend I am going to Re-Generations where Michele is going to be so I am finishing up the puppet for her and her son. I also plan to finish my set of the Fivish Doctors giving Colin Baker his puppet that I have had for him for a while and he has known of its existence for a while as well.

I have the puppet body done and now onto the face, hair and clothes. I need to build two stands for the puppets and I am having a battery problem with my drill and I don’t have a simple fix for it.

Today I plan to get the rest of my fabric then build the clothes because they have to be distressed.

Next week I hope to have photos of what I did.

Then I move onto the big project.
