Monday Monday Monday

Yes, it is Monday and I have a number of things on my plate including finishing the holiday lights, working on a pitch, and picking up the house a bit. Plus my usual Monday activities.

Peter will be back late tomorrow afternoon and I will be happy to see him in person rather than on a computer screen.

I did watch the Jets win and the Giants lose. How many times did the ball get dropped or pop out? I know the field was sloppy but good grief. And the number of personal fouls had to be close to the record for that rivalry. Colts and Saints are undefeated still. It is going to be interesting to see how this plays out. Navy beat up on Army again. I have totally lost any interest in professional basketball and the college stuff is getting pretty unwatchable as well. Oh well how many days till pitchers and catchers report?

Caroline was not feeling well and the weather was lousy so we had a Princess DVD day with lots of Disney DVDs. And yes I know Mulan is NOT a Princess except in Disney’s mind as is Pocahontas but still she had fun and is fine for school today.

Please no spoilers in the comments since too many people I know who read this didn’t see the last episode of Dexter. All I have to say that after that ending, I went upstairs and gave Caroline a hug and wished I could give one to Peter. What an ending to a season. It is one of the reasons I keep coming back.

I am grateful that my husband will be home soon.
