Well Carp! This is just Ducky

Our secondary laptop (ye old iBook) which has had a screen problem, that we know about and have had fixed about 4 times, now is showing the signs of going dark again. Which is really kind of sad. It did last a lot longer this time because it was not being used all the time as a working computer. But I will be sorry to see the screen go. Then we have to make the decision to fix it again and get maybe about 2 years worth of use or just deal with the computers that we have now. If it holds true to form, I have about another week's worth of time before it totally goes dead on me. And plugging it into another screen doesn't help.

Peter should be on his way home. His flight took off pretty much on time. I have missed having him around. You get use to the rhythms of a household and when someone is missing, it just doesn't feel the same.

I do have a lot to do before he gets home. But first I have to get Caroline off to school. She got up about the usual time which give her some free time to do what she wants before she has to get ready for school. We have this all timed out.

I am grateful that I know that my husband's plane took off and about when it is going to land.
