Australia 2009 Day 2
Oct. 16th, 2009 06:00 pmShort entry because we are off to the convention this morning.
We got to the zoo and had a great time. If you come to Melbourne on a visit, then I highly recommend a visit there. Caroline loved all the animals that she met. We even had a Kangaroo hop over to where she was and give her the once over and then he hopped back to his group. The koala posed very well. The platypus was wicked fast in its tank and he played round with Caroline for a bit following her hand as she moved it. I took lots of pictures.
Later we went to the open reception for the convention. Caroline fell asleep pretty fast on a chair so Peter sat with her and people came to talk to him. We caught up with news with the Robot Chicken crew. Matt was telling us about his 6 month old son. I think we are off to see penguins on Monday with a bunch of people who are going to be at the New Zealand show as well. It is an all day animal watch which should be fun.
Sleep schedule is still a little off but much better than last night.
So we are having a blast and seeing so many things. The people are very friendly and helpful.
So No Worries Mate we are doing fine.
I am grateful that we were able to take Caroline to such an incredible Zoo.
