MMQB Sunshine Finally
Dec. 29th, 2008 10:56 amThat yellow ball has returned to the sky. It 20 degrees colder than it was yesterday but then it is December.
Jets lost and the Giants lost. To the Giants the game meant nothing other than the last game of the season. For the Vikings, the game meant everything. To the Jets a win meant that the Pats were in the playoffs and a loss meant that the Dolphins and Chad were in the playoffs. They needed both the Pats and the Dolphins to lose for it to make any difference in their playoff lives.
The Chargers won over the Broncos and move on to the playoffs. The Eagles fans owe some serious fruit baskets to the other teams that let them squeak into the playoffs including the Cowboys which most sports commentators had in the running for the playoffs if not their division outright at the beginning of the season.
So we now have our playoffs of the wild cards next week which should be some good games since this is for all the marbles.
