Lunch with a Friend

I had lunch with my oldest friend yesterday. We have known each other for over 35 years and rapidly heading to 40. We have been through a lot together and apart but there is a comfortable feeling when I get together with her. We pick up the conversation where we left off. I will say that the Internet and on-line journals have made it easier to keep up with what is happening to her and for her to keep up with me. We did some fabric looking and were very good and did not add to our fabric stash. We had lunch and talked about stuff that we had not put out there on the Internet. It was very nice.

I feel better for the visit.

I am grateful for old friends and comfortable friendships.
