Peter tried to let me sleep in this morning. He really did but Caroline had other plans for me. She got up and wanted in to the bedroom. Peter cracked the door so she could see I was asleep and Millie the cat got in. So Millie, Caroline, and I shared the bed until I got up and came downstairs. It's OK. I feel much better than I did yesterday morning. I can put two thoughts together and they stay together rather than fleeing out of my head.
Caroline and I have Mommy and Me today. She has been participating since she was 6 months old. She was the first kid to walk in class much to the amazement of the other mothers. She has fun and is now playing better in the structured part of the time there.
Most of what I did yesterday was catch up to where I was before we left. There was a pile of mail to deal with along with the newspapers and packages. I sorted out all the stuff we got at the convention and the mall. Caroline played with her new doll that she made at Friends 2B made which is an offshoot of Build-a-Bear. She picked out the dress and shoes for the doll and the doll itself. She had a lot of fun making it except when they stuffed the doll and I think that was because it was so loud. She doesn't do well with loud.
The weather today is still warm but the rain we drove through to get home is now arriving on our doorstep. I have a few things I want to do before I have deluges to run through.
Once this party is over then I want to get back to my art. I have two gifts I think I want to try to make this year. We'll see if I can get to it and I have to start my Farpoint costumes and the prop I am doing for a group costume at LunaCon. Maybe I should enter the art show too. Or maybe I should flap my arms and fly to the moon.
Off to clean before driving to Mommy and Me.
I am grateful for the feeling I get when others recognize my work as art.
