Cleaning continues
Nov. 10th, 2005 08:37 amDown to 4 corners and seeing a possible light at the end of the tunnel or is that the on-coming train? So progress was made and I feel pretty good about it. Still have the bloody headache and sinus pressure. I am seriously considering another visit to my Doctor.
United Fan Con is this weekend and Peter is a guest of the convention. We have our house/cat sitter in place for the weekend. Now I just have to pack us up and get us ready to go. I don't know how much more I am going to get done on the living room until Monday but I am hoping to get a little more out of the way. Monday is the annual SWFA party which I plan to attend. Then next Wednesday I am getting together with my brother and his wife to go see Avenue Q. They have tickets for Spamalot on Thursday. I can't believe that Thanksgiving is two weeks away. Were did the year go?
Without spoilers please, I didn't expect the ending to LOST except now each time they have a sympathetic story that explains all a characters quirks I am going to figure they have a big red target on their back. Smallville has been really good again. I think I have given up on Alias at this point. Charmed had managed to reinvent itself again. The only new show we are watching is the Henry Winkler/Stockard Channing comedy "Out of Practice." None of the other new "science fiction" shows have held our interest at all. I figure one LOST type program is all I need for the week.
T.O. has nowhere to go and I am not too upset about it. He did it to himself in spades. I know there are teams that are desperate enough to pick him up because he can play. I just think they need to take a long hard look as to whether the disrupted influence of T.O. is worth it to them. Personally I don't see the need. The Giants proved that the previous week was not a fluke and they can play even if they are not at home. The Jets need to start looking at next year and let Bollinger play. Let him make mistakes and figure out how to run the game. He did pretty doggone well last week. The Falcons are showing a lot of heart and a good running game. Then there are the Colts. Wonder what is in their Gatorade?
I am grateful for a lack of watchable TV.
