Crafty Tuesday: Caroline's Halloween Costume 2013

This year Caroline designed her own costume. She decided to be a Vampire Princess.

I am putting most of this under the cut since this is very picture heavy.

Next year her goal is to sew her own costume having designed it.



Let’s start with her initial drawing which I have posted before.

This is the drawing that she first handed to me to explain what she wanted to do. She wanted a beating heart and to use EL wire to create the veins.

I have a video but I can’t figure out how to convert the file to something I can upload so any hints how to get iPhone video to load would be useful.

I am grateful my daughter is so creative.

Oh very well done on both of your parts. And I love that she's going to try sewing her own costume next year! I might have to warn my husband that his 'headless fencer' has competition next year. :D

Oh, VERY nice indeed! EL wire is fun to play with - we used it to make the light-up White Tree of Gondor on darthsatyr's Elvis/Aragorn jumpsuit back in the day. You and Caroline make a good team!
