And I just got the graveyard out and the decorations up for Halloween. Sigh. Well I guess I will be weather watching for the next couple of days.

This could kill Halloween this year and a number of other activities that are planned for the next week. Play it by ear seems to be the mantra.

According to the news, batteries seem to be the hot commodity this year. I need to get a gallon of milk but that’s because we are almost out of milk. Sunday is my usual shopping day for the house but that might change a bit since we are going to Sacred Heart for a Concert a 1:30 on that day dependent on weather.

The world seems to be stopping and looking at the weather right now. Or at least the east coast part of it.

I'm still trying to decided whether to go to J's for the next few days. I'd rather not, but I'd rather not lose my car to a storm surge, either.

I would keep an eye on things. They are still unsure of where it is going to hit but they're sure we are getting the winds.

I've decided to go. LB is evacuating the hospital and nursing homes, although there's no general call yet.

Correction: LB just called for a voluntary evacuation. Still no word from the county.

It's definitely play it by ear time. We started getting light rain Friday, winds and rain picked up yesterday. Going to be interesting to see what happens over the next few days... Stay safe!

I'm just glad it held off until after the weekend! If I'd had to miss my friend's Halloween party two years in a row because of weather I'd have been furious!
