I have a lot to do in a very small time frame. Now I have to just get it done. I did find Caroline a dress to wear at the Bat Mitzvah. Today is when that starts to kick into high gear. So for the next couple of days this is going to be short unless something really strikes me and I need to “talk”. Right now all I would be writing is a list of all the things I need to do today.

Oh, does anyone know any really good books on Japanese society during the Samurai in english? I have a good translation of the Code of the Warrior but am interested in life at the time.

I've found that "Shogun" is a really good primer for the whole time period, although along with "the Five Rings" and "Musashi" they should (if taken together) serve. Other than that, I don't know.
