I will tell you that you need to stay ALL THE WAY through the credits of the Avengers for an extra scene. There is one halfway through and then another at the end.

Going to a convention this weekend with Peter and Caroline. Caroline insisted on going because she didn’t see Daddy for a whole week. Not much to do except the convention I think. Caroline is already talking about selling pictures and I might bring along my sculpting stuff to get started on some critters for DragonCon. I may bring a couple of things to sell as well including the calot.

Peter and I are seeing the Avengers this morning. We are going to use our Avenger Approved 3-D glasses to watch it. I figure he can use the Hulk and I’ll use the Iron Man pair.

More rain in the forecast today. The leafy green spring look is only greener with all this rain. It is good for the plants. The humans are just getting soggy.

Had a weird dream last night. I dreamt that I was having an impossible time falling asleep. Never had that one before that I can remember.

Got also an odd idea that I need to try to make one to see if it will work. More on that later.

TV series are winding down. The one Caroline cares the most about is “Once Upon A Time” because she is really interested to see where we land by the end of the season. I have not informed her that this show was done by the same people who did LOST so I am not expecting much.

Well off to the Avengers.

May the Fourth Be With You. (Yes, it’s Star Wars Day)

I am grateful for things to do as a family.

I sat through all the credits last night because I'd been told (by you, I think) about there being extra footage at the end.

Nothing.

Nada.

Zip.

Zilch.

I felt a total idiot sitting there alone while they cleaned up around me. Clearly the British audience is not worthy of the extra footage. What happens in it? PM me if you don't want to say here?

I did really enjoy it though and it was a brilliant film to see in 3D, which I'm a huge fan of (my husband isn't, so took our son to see the normal version and when I asked whether it was worth 3D he had no idea). I especially enjoyed spotting all the minor characters that I knew from elsewhere - my husband had missed Victor from Dollhouse and he'd recognised another extra with a line but even when I described the entirety of Otis to him, which we have on DVD and he watched with me, he still didn't recognise her.

I gave a call to my inside Marvel Studios Source and basically the US release got an extra scene at the very end that apparently didn't show up in the European version. I have PM'd you with what it was.

I love that I have a friend with an inside Marvel Studios source! Thanks for that - I had wondered whether it was a 3D thing - my husband swore he'd seen an extra scene, but it turned out just to be the first one. Really appreciated.

As you said, it was soooo perfectly Whendon. We have a theory that we are trying to get an answer to as to Why that but until we have more info I am going to keep it to my self.

Oh no, now you got me too curious...

I was hoping for Vision rumor or something else related to that thing that happens that we can't talk about...

Although right after my mom was like, That was it? She wondered about Loki. Obviously, he wasn't tied up in a corner so I guess they ate and then rounded him up?

The folks and I have a date to watch it tomorrow. I pondered going 3D, but 3D makes me ill. I watched Avatar in 3D (and got ill, but it was worth it). I may watch The Hobbit in 3D. I'll definitely be seeing that one a couple of times in the theatre. :-)
