Off to see the Queen

Caroline stuffed crackers in her ‘jamies last night before she went to bed. I found them when I want to change her diaper this morning. Maybe she wanted a late night snake. Sometimes my daughter can be a very strange child.
I got everything done for the Ren Faire today. I am a little amazed I managed it before midnight last night. Peter took care of stripping the coconut. I finished his Arthur helmet version Duex. I made a Pasty tunic for me. I am going to finish that costume someday. I made Ariel a wand holder, hemmed her dress, and got her dragons together. It should be fun.

I have seen plenty of errors of that sort in published books, showing that they relied on a spell-checker more than on a competent human copy editor. There's a nasty tendency towards bad editing in general, and especially in small-press occult books. I recently read two thirds of Memetic Magic by R. Kirk Packwood, and found it so badly written and poorly, if at all, edited that I had to put it down. Well, that and the total lack of any original or useful content.
