Crafty Tuesday: Now with Progress Pictures

puppetmakerYes, I know it is Wednesday. I was on such a roll yesterday.
OK we are 29 days to DragonCon and I have gotten one of the big projects out of the way almost.
Behind the cut are pictures of the X-men First Class Jacket and pants. Here is what I have left to do.
1) The Snaps on the pants and jacket
2) The harness that goes over the jacket and pants.
3) The other big project that completes the look
I am going to be turning this into mostly a record of getting ready for DragonCon so feel free to follow a long. There will be occasional commentary on other things but I am locked into DragonCon for the foreseeable future.
Today I plan to finish the costume and fix the puppets for the puppet slam which will be at DragonCon on Sunday Night at 11:30pm.
I am grateful for how far I have gotten.
Update: Here is the whole thing which only needs a couple of minor tweeks to be finished.
The Jacket
(For the VI: This is a jacket based on X-Men First Class outfits. The torso is predominantly yellow with blue inserts in the sides. The sleeves are blue with black elbow pads)
The Pants
(For the VI: Pants for the same outfit. They are blue with a checked pattern and a vertical strip pattern with black kneepads.)
