Happy Birthday to Dr. P

puppetmakerMy brother Patrick celebrates his birthday. He is the youngest in our family but I don’t ever call him the baby of the family. He is too doggone mature for it. In some ways he always has been.
He is my only other sibling with children. His daughter and my daughter are about the same age. The cousins get along well when they meet. He is a really good dad too.
We both have a love of many forms of gaming. I took him to his first D&D game and he took to role-playing like a duck to water. His hand/eye coordination is much better than mine so I use to watch him play first person shooter games because I am crap at them.
Understand that all my siblings are smart but Patrick has a passion for science that is quite special. He is a smart cookie indeed. Scary smart sometimes.
We grew up close and still have that sibling bond that makes it possible for us to get together and just pick up from where we left off. And that is a good feeling to have.
