And I am hoping we have everything at the ready. Today I have to build some puppet props and get a few other things done.
Funny thing I heard listening to an interview with James McAvoy talking about X-Men first class. The interviewer said that the word “Reboot” was Hollywood Latin for "We're sorry for the last movie so we are going to try this again."
Yes, I still have X-Men First Class on the brain. Feel free to discuss in comments. Some of you know of my X-men obsession from years past. It hasn’t gotten any better just a little more under the radar since I have gone from fan to friend with some writers and artists that I though would be really cool to be friends with and I was right. My life takes interesting turns at the oddest times.
Vanillie has to be pilled twice a day and we have to make sure he isn’t trying to slit his own throat by scratching at it. Yes, we have a kitty on Steroids for the itch. He is doing better. He is gaining back some of the weight he lost. Now if we can stop him from grooming himself bald.
Figgy is probably at the size she is pretty much going to be. She is a small kitty but thinks that she is much bigger. She is our hidey cat. We have to be careful when we pick up bags because she very well might be in there hiding.
Caroline wants to wear her Charmcaster outfit to school today. It’s dress like your favorite fictional character/sports figure. Now I have to figure out where it is.
Congratulations to the Boston Bruins for winning the Stanley Cup. This was one of those against all odds stories. Everyone had Vancouver taking the series but the Bruins stuck in there and got it done.
My DVR has spoiler me for speeding through commercials. I find myself trying to get past the commercials while watching things that are being broadcast.
Caroline loved Jem and the Holograms. The Hub started showing it and she has been following since the first episode aired. She joins her sisters in their love of Jem.
I am already jonesing for the second half of Dr. Who.
I am grateful for wood working abilities (Thanks Dad.)

Date: 2011-06-16 12:59 pm (UTC)Subject change: Freejack came up in my trivia night last night. I told your Anthony Hopkins anecdote ("Oh, you poor thing"). Did meeting him happen to you or to someone you know? I may be mis-remembering. (What also came up: that the signatures left at the Apollo 11 landing site are from the three astronauts and President Dick Nixon. Thanks for reminding me of that, both Arthur C. Clarke and Independence Day!)
