Happiness is a Warm Purring Kitten

puppetmakerFigaro continues to work out her new world. Caroline spent most of the day with her in the kitchen. Caroline read to the kitten. They watched a movie together (portable DVD players are amazing). They played together. Figaro and Caroline had a very good day together.
Me, I finished the laundry to which there was much rejoicing. Today is all about Ariel’s room and getting that knocked back into shape.
It is nice to have a quiet weekend without any obligations to be anywhere we don’t want to be. I am going to take Caroline to see the Guardians of Ga’Hoole or whatever they are calling it this week. The weather looks dicey to do anything outside today.
Peter is getting his schedule together for New York Comic Con. He is a busy lad all three days. We’re still a bit up in the air as to what we are going to do. I know Ariel is going to be there. Whether Caroline and I make it is still undecided.
I am working out what I am going to do for the lawn this year. I have a wacky idea but don’t know if I have the time to do it. I need to cogitate for a bit on that one.
I am a couple of days behind on the National Craft Month challenge but I think I am going to give it a go as of today. Hard to believe that Novel Writing is around the corner…or did I miss it this year?
I am hoping that today will be a productive one.
