(yeah yeah I know. New Who Review is being moved onto Tuesday this week.)
Friday was busy. But let's back up to Thursday when I finished up the last pieces for the play. I had to build another puppet but this one was a very simple one. I built a rod puppet for the Bus Driver. That along with the rest of the props took up a chunk of the day. I got everything done before I went to bed.

The Bus Driver and his Bus
Friday we got up very early and packed up the van with all the stuff we would need. We got to the school rather early and started to set up for the show. We performed 6 shows that day and amused a lot of children and adults. We taped the last show. I have no idea how it turned out but we did it.
Saturday we went to see Toy Story 3. Wonderful film. Just a caution for the parents of the younger set, the toys end up in some serious danger towards the end but you can assure your kids that everything turns out all right. It did have me laughing and crying. It pushed my buttons and I didn't care. If this is the last Toy Story, I'm Ok with how it ended. We took Peter out to lunch because Caroline and I were going into the city on Father's Day. It was going to be all of us but Peter had something that he had to deal with at home.
Sunday Caroline and I went into the city to join up with my parents at the Metropolitan Museum of Art to see the Picasso exhibit. I enjoyed the paintings a lot but I really enjoyed a multi-media presentation that showed you what was behind the picture on the canvas and how much Picasso would paint and repaint until he liked it. I learned a lot from that. We went to lunch and then went to see what Caroline wanted to see, the hall of arms and armor, the Egyptian Art, and the Asian Art. We parted ways late in the afternoon and Caroline and I took the train home.
Now there is the massive clean-up that always happens after a large project like this. After that I will set up for Shoreleave and get to work on those pieces. I also need to get my paperwork into DragonCon along with contacting all the people I need to get in touch with for panels and such.
Today I am going to start on the clean-up but I might take a day off later this week just for me.
Yes, I am current on Who but I am avoiding all spoilers for next week. Peter and I have a theory but I am asking to be kept spoiler free at this time.
I am grateful that the show was as well received as it was by the Field Day participants.
