I have a lot going on in my head. Probably not more so than anyone else but I only have to deal with what is going on in mine. I have snippets of stories, puppet ideas, dolls, stuffed animals, more puppets, masks, and costume idea floating around. I also have family concerns, health concerns, and career concerns also. Then there are the outside influences that make their way into my brain and rattle around with everything else.

I have, over the years, worked on ways to get my mind under control. I find that writing something down tends to get it out of my head. So I make endless lists of things just to get a little piece of mind. I also find that cleaning helps me clear my mind. You’d think with that my house would be as neat as a pin. The sound you now hear is me laughing hysterically. My house is clean but far from neat. And there is a difference between clean and neat. You can have clean without neat especially if you have a lot of paper in the house that needs to stay in the house.

So today and the next couple of days I plan to clean my home while trying to sort out the voices in my head. I also plan to sit down with a calendar and work out the rest of the year in terms of what I need to have done when. The next BIG project will probably be the Field Day puppets with the other BIG project for Shoreleave on the docket.

I am grateful for things that help me clear my mind and find peace.

Good luck with the cleaning, both physical and mental. I cleaned my apartment yesterday. (This is notable because I do it so seldom.) The piles of Stuff are still there, however.

Did you get my email about the hotel bill?

I'm cleaning and packing for the 2nd move in a year... trying to stop my personal financial crisis... so I completely understand the full-head syndrome... I make lists then lose them these days, thanks to enlisting my grandkids to help...
