We are home. We drove through the night and didn’t run into our biggest fear which was rush hour traffic as we were passing through. So it was probably as fast as we could get back without a TARDIS.

Car is unpacked. Things are distributed amongst the owners. Food is were it needs to be. I found the one present I thought I had packed (sorry Dad) downstairs in the cave. Sorted through the mail which was pretty quick since there were a couple of no mail days. My 2010 Froud Calendar arrived from Amazon.

I still have the road noise in my ears. Caroline was a very good little traveler. She slept most of the way home and played quietly when she was awake. Ariel slept most of the way too. I got some sleep but it was erratic at best. I had one where Harlan had been turned into a talking chocolate Labrador and Susan didn’t see anything strange about it so I figured it was OK that he was a talking dog.

So the rest of the day is mostly going to be loose ends from the trip. Maybe a nap and bowling this evening.

I am grateful that we made it home safe and sane.
