On the Road Again

Cat sitter is in place. I have a few last minute things to do before we hop into the car and head down to Atlanta for Christmas.
It is always the last minute things that can eat up all my time. I have things I want to do and things I need to do.
Sorry my mind is a little fragmented this morning. We went to see Avatar yesterday and I had Na’vi showing up in my dreams which proves that the visuals were pretty powerful. The plot is pretty much a retread of a couple of other films but I don’t think you go see this one for the plot as much as the visuals. It does need to be seen on the Big Screen. We saw it in 3-D and discovered you can watch a movie longer than 90 minutes with 3-D glasses without getting too much of a headache.
Also I am trying to gear myself up for the trip. After all the travel we have done this fall, this is just a drop in the bucket. We have done this before. We have checked the maps and the weather patterns and are very happy that we got the snow this weekend. We are sticking to main highways all the way down so we should have pretty clear roads.
To everyone traveling, please be safe. I worry.
