I have experienced Jet Lag before. For the most part I have been able to shrug it off and get done what needs to be done. Going from the West Coast to the East Coast, I have had minor cases of it and managed to just pull it together and just go in very short order. This, however, is the worse I have ever had it. Might have something to do with the number of time zones I went through. Now just to add yet another time change, tonight we return to standard time in much of the US. I wonder if I am ever going to get a normal night’s sleep again.
The lights are up and the graveyard is in place. I have some fences to put up to finish the look and a flag to hand up for tonight. I also have some bushes to clip because they are a hazard to little kid costumes as they go up and down the stairs. Then it is onto the sorting of the comic books which includes pulling out about a years worth of boxes of comics to give out tonight.
Haven’t been keeping up with any sports so I guess this weekend I might get a chance to see a game or two.
I am declaring next week a week for recovery! Like recovering the house from the trip and recovering from travel. We have been going non-stop for over a month now.
But wait! There is the NaNoWriMo which I signed up for. How many words a day is that? When does that start? Why did I think this was a good idea? We’ll see how it goes this year.
Girl Scout training went well. There is a lot to do with the girls so that will make it more challenging but they have 3 years to do it in before they bridge to Juniors. They now have badges for Brownies called Try-its which does make it a little more structured.
Happy Halloween to those who celebrate it! Happy Samhain to those who celebrate that! And a Happy Beltane to the Southern half of the world!
Off to finish the yard portion of the day.
I am grateful that I did the Girl Scout training.
