Gearing up for DragonCon 2009

Today is all about the packing. DragonCon is one of those conventions that we end up bringing quite a bit of stuff to. There are the books and scripts that Peter has written. There are the pieces for the Art Show. There are the other items that we need for the convention like costume pieces. And, of course, clothing and the rest of the things you just need for a trip.

I got up rather early this morning since I awoke at about 3:30 and couldn’t get back to sleep. I foresee a nap this afternoon for me. But it did let me get the mystery project done and a good start on the cleaning that needs to go along with the packing since I want to leave our cat/house sitter with a nice place to sit in.

I am grateful I did get a majority of stuff done this morning.

I asked Gary if he would stop by your booth and look at some of the puppets for me. I've been wanting to buy one for the longest time but wasn't sure of the prices. So he's supposed to say "Penny sent me" and you have to beat him over the head with a salami if he forgets. :grins: (Although he probably will because he was just darned excited about seeing you anyway)
