Peter and I are going to BEA today for the Marvel shindig and just to see what we can see. So if you are at BEA and happen to see me with Peter, it’s not an illusion.

Yesterday, through the magic of Movietickets.com, I got tickets to the afternoon showing of “UP”. We arrived at the theater half an hour before the show was to start and lucked into some really great seats with an unobstructed view for Caroline.

It is not my favorite Pixar film but they have yet to un-impress me with their work. I enjoyed it a lot and would be willing to see it in a theater again. No cheap 3-D gimmicks were used but I do think that the 3-D enhances the scope of the piece. I do admit to being choked up once or twice during the film and I was amazed that they had such adult themes in this film but they were issues that we have to deal with at many points in our lives.

It is very beautiful to look at and they have raised the bar yet again in the computer animation film. I hope to be seeing it without the glasses soon.

I am grateful for the ability to mow the lawn.

I've been wanting to see this movie since I saw the first previews. My daughter and I both love the Pixar films.

My friend Angie works with Pixar and her internship was done on the film (she's a lighter). It amazes me just how long it takes to do something that I don't even realize is there. It's definitely the beginning of me starting to appreciate yet another aspect of film making.

I wish I had a lawn to mow!
