My eldest stepdaughter turned 28 today. She shared this birthday with Keith DeCanido who turned 40 today.
I first met Shana when she was about 10. It was the first time I met Peter too. I taught her and Peter how to operate a hand and rod puppet at an Atlanta Fantasy Fair.
She has a beautiful singing voice and a quirky sense of humor. My favorite original song of hers is entitled “Peanut butter and Jelly” which is a love song strangely enough kind of sort of.
Her life changed a lot in the last year. She got married last year to a wonderful guy named Tim (insert your Monty Python joke here). They moved from Florida to an undisclosed location (only because she asked me to. Witness protection and all…I kid. I kid because I love).
So Happy Birthday Shana! I hope you had a grand day. Just FYI, Ariel has been trying to call you and your voice mail insists you don’t exist so please call her. Thanks.
