But first here is a progress picture

(For my visually impaired readers, this is a picture of the three wyrd sisters and Greebo the cat before I put on the soft body that completes the doll. They also have to be painted before I put the body on)

I have a lot to do today but I have done it before and will do it again today. In fact I have done what I needed to do in Wendy’s class in a day so I am hoping I can do it here.

Andy Hallett is best known as Lorne Green on Angel. It is a role that was tailor made for Andy’s skill set and he did a great job with it. I met Andy a number of times over the years that he was at various conventions that we happened to be at. I even got him and Mark Lutz to come to one of Sean’s shindigs at DragonCon which he thanked me for the next day. The one short conversation I will always remember with Andy is when he met baby Caroline who giggled and cooed at him. He told me that Peter was going to have to polish up a big stick to keep the boys away because he could see that she was going to be a heartbreaker when she grew up. He will be missed.

Off to work on the dolls. I think I am going to work outside since it is beautiful although a little windy.

Another progress shot tomorrow.

I am grateful that I met Andy.

I *love* it when you include pics of what you are working on. I love seeing creative people and how their brain and creativity work you know? Sometimes it even gets me going!

What are the Wyrd Sisters made out of? I can see the wire, but is it some sort of clay?
They are looking really good so far!

They are made of Armature wire covered in paper tape (masking tape). I cover that with some form of polymer clay or paper clay. Greebo is paperclay. Magrat is Fimo clay. Granny and Nanny are Super Sculpy.

I hope so. They are coming along nicely but everyone has an image in their head of these characters. Esp. Greebo.
