Drifting

The storm is finally over. It was amazing to see the wind whip the snow into the air and makes it difficult to see even across the street. The wind and snow made the most amazing drifts. I hope to get some pictures before the sun starts to melt them and they slide.

Getting Caroline to the Bus Stop is going to be an adventure. Any water has now turned to ice because of the temperature and not all my neighbors have shoveled their walks yet. I think where the bus stop is, there has been nothing done at all. Our walk is shoveled, salted, and sanded so people can walk safely on it. I also kept our driveway clear from all the snow and debris that the plows were dumping as they passed while clearing the street.

The snow is clean and white right now. It gives the world around me a rather peaceful look. The wind is still blowing but not as hard as yesterday.

I have been feeling a bit adrift recently due to various things that have and have not been going on. Life has thrown me some strange curve balls I have dealt with and am dealing with now. Now I need to get myself back on track and heading a direction with purpose which is much easier to say than do. I just hope that this time I don’t get derailed again.

Today I plan to recover the house from the weekend and get started on a sculpt of something. I found my armature wire so I can construct bodies of my next project. I just have to find my proportion stick/diagram so I can put things together correctly. I think the gym is in the cards today and I know I have the library this afternoon. So I will get started on A and work my way to B and possibly to C. But first is getting Caroline off to the bus safely then some pictures of the drifts.

I am grateful for the beauty of the landscape outside my house.

Well, if you need something to distract yourself with, I could use a puppet of me.

You never let me know how much it would be to do my character Daven Moto on Gaia.

I've failed lately at link-fu. I've been meaning to send you guys stuff to amuse you; it's one way to be useful.

(I can send you bogglimg things, though. Like this: steampunk cake (http://boingboing.net/2009/02/10/steampunk-cake.html). I'd meant to write "Hobbit" and first wrote "Hobbot" and Steampunk Tolkien came to mind and I started searching...)

Thinking of y'all. And glad that the snow's pretty.
