We are back in the deep freeze again. There is a bit of wind that is just making this even colder. I will be bundling Caroline up again to get her to school safely.

We are still working on integrating the cats. It works for a while then someone's fur gets pushed the wrong way and we have to separate them again. In the back of their tiny brains, the upstairs cats know that if they go in the dining room, they can get away from Treat since he is not allowed in there. And Treat knows that he can go to the office if he wants to be done with the other cats.

I took Caroline to a carnival that the PTA created at the school. She had lots of fun playing the various games. I helped with the kindergarten booth by making bean bags for the bean bag toss. We won for most creative booth. A lot of parents put in the effort to make it a really neat booth that had a lot of kids participating. Caroline also made sand art and did face painting. She had a lot of fun. I find it funny how many parents I now know and know me at the school. Some know me as Caroline's mom because that is how their kids know me. I am now a nodding acquaintance with a number of people around the town because of my participation at the school. Makes me feel more part of the community.

X-Factor 39 came out yesterday. I ask that no spoilers be posted here. Yes, I have known for quite a while what was going to happen. And yes I do know what the next couple of issues bring but I am not going to discuss it here. Yes, I know it is a kick in the gut. It was when I first read it and when I saw the final art. My husband is genius. Also Fallen Angel will be back soon and with Illyria making a guest appearance with Joss's blessing.

Today is going to be a day of catching up and sorting out.

I am grateful for the fans who listened to Peter's wishes and followed them.

This will make some people I know very, very happy. I'm not yet to that part of Angel, so I can't say how I feel, except that it's neat and cool that Whedon is letting her appear. (I don't know Whedon, so I won't call him "Joss"!)

I'm out-of-the-loop enough comics-wise that I want to ask: how many issues of Fallen Angel are out right now? The last one I remember seeing was the one with Lee in the raft surrounded by sharks (I think Issue 30... *digs through comics stash* oh, that's #29).

It's cold here too! I saw something I'd never seen here in FLorida in the ten years I've lived here: hard, white frost all over everything and delicate etchings on the window panes. The dogs' water dish was frozen solid! It's damp cold, though, which hurts.

I don't think I told you, but I love reading about your Caroline. She's quite a little lady!

It's a bit warmer here today--actually above freezing! Tomorrow's supposed to be even warmer. Then back to the deepfreeze by Sunday.
