Is probably going to go down in history along with "I have a dream" and "Ask not what your country can do for you". It is going to be interesting what Obama is going to say both to the country and to the world today. It feels like everyone is holding its collective breath waiting for noon to come and nothing to go wrong. I plan to watch and I am hoping to find a channel without commentary. I don't know when commentary became de rigueur with whatever we are watching but sometimes I just like to watch and come to my own conclusions.

I got a lot of the house clean and the laundry mostly done. There is one load in the dryer that needs to be folded and I am done until this evening because Ariel needs her team jersey washed for a match and team photos. I figure there is going to be enough for a small load.

Bowling went well last night 2 out of 3 games. I bowled a 139, 109, 196. I have a 140 average which is down from the 154 I had back in November but a couple of off weeks will kill an average. My Wednesday average is better than my Monday average which is better than my current book average.

I am grateful for the news coverage that will let me see our next President sworn in.

FWIW, Fox is supposedly going to stop commentary once things get underway.

I've been telling everyone who will listen, that this moves me on a level that is hard to explain.

I think of my dad and mom and what they've been through growing up in the segregated South, and the come here from the stories they passed down is overwhelming.

I only got to listen on the radio at work, but I DVR'd it. Tonight I'll watch and I'll probably ugly cry.

I've been very emotional all day.

It's a good thing.

Bowling!

(I'll probably have to say this a thousand times today. I respect and understand anyone who gushes/is excited/loves today... I'm just not there and I am an Obama supporter.)

So once again? Yay for Bowling. In some ways there is no truer game.
