Given my druthers, I will take snow over sleet every time. I'm not getting much of a choice in the matter. The Island is going to get a little snow and then a lot of sleet which always makes driving or walking fun. Or maybe it will all turn to rain. It is too much to hope for that it will be all snow.

I got two projects done yesterday and I am going to start on another one today. I am being a bit more productive since the beginning of the year.

Art Shows I am looking to be in this year Farpoint (done deal); LunaCon (need to submit paperwork and check); Shoreleave (waiting for the call for submitting) and DragonCon (waiting for the call for submitting). I am thinking about Comic Con but am really of two minds about it. I also have three dolls for a challenge that if they get accepted will be traveling a bit. There is also costume con which I may be going to and they have a doll show as well. The Doctor Who puppets might be fun there.

Today I need to finish my next part of a puppetjam which I need to relearn some stuff about Photoshop which will make my life much easier. These have to be off this evening to the coordinator for the next step.

Two playoff games to watch today. I have my chips and dip ready to go.

I am grateful for programs that do what I want them to do.

Yes, I prefer snow, too, which we will be getting on top of our two inches of ice.

Back to the quad cane and the YakTrax. I haven't left the house in more than a week.

I'm looking forward to football, too.

If you go to SDCC, we'll be there, and you'd have a chance to see the fruits of labor :)

Official word from the National Weather Service: "wintry mix" tonight and tomorrow. Snow, sleet, freezing rain. Oh, boy! Me, I'm not going *anywhere* tomorrow.

I just got the Lunacon art show email, was beginning to wonder where it was. I'm reserving a half table again.

For San Diego ComicCon, most of the 3-d tables have a barrier to keep grabby people away that is set far back so it hurts 3-d sales. Either be sure to be there as early as possible to grab the best space or if you're mailing in you could send the work to me and I'll get you as good a space as I can. Also, bear in mind that people may be 3 feet away at the closest when deciding what to send/ how to lay it out. If you want any more hints about CCI, feel free to email me . It's my "home con".:)

p.s. good luck with the weather.
