LJ Idol 5.12 My Favorite Story

Anyone who says their favorite story is anything other than their own life is simply lying.
How could it not be? I know my life story is my favorite.
It's filled with action (finding myself driving late at night through twisty mountain roads while being followed since I am a line of defense between a famous actor and his over adoring fan), adventure (Escorting a VIP through a convention and keeping the fans at bay so they could get to a meeting which launched the next part of their career), romance (anything with Peter and me), birth (Caroline), deaths (More than I care count for this year), and exciting chases (and if you don't think sprinting after a fleeing, yet laughing, two year old across a busy parking lot isn't exciting, then you don't know from exciting).
It has a vast, even sprawling supporting cast filled with peculiar and memorable characters, it's long-running, I'm the main character, and I have absolutely no idea what' s going to happen next. But I can't wait to find out and I hope it never ends. Or if it does, I don't want to be there when it happens.

Date: 2008-12-18 03:09 pm (UTC)I have to give Peter credit for giving me the idea. It came up when we were talking about something else and I thought he was right.

Date: 2008-12-18 03:32 pm (UTC)Yesterday, someone on my friends page quoted Ferris Bueller, "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it."
This has become entwined with a thread in my head that I've been working on and was teased out a little yesterday, and is being teased out more today. Thankies :)

Date: 2008-12-18 06:32 pm (UTC)I have to remind myself of this when I get down on life. We are so lucky to be alive esp. if you stop and thing all the things that had to happen for YOU to be here.

Date: 2008-12-18 07:14 pm (UTC)Some I have written before and others are yet to be told.
The actor with the stalker was the late Chris Reeves.
The VIP tale I have not told yet and really can't unless I get permission from all parties that were involved.

Date: 2008-12-19 12:54 am (UTC)I have always said that if I were to die today, I would go out knowing that I had a good life with a lot of fun in it. I hope for a much longer run with more adventure in it.
