Anyone who says their favorite story is anything other than their own life is simply lying.

How could it not be? I know my life story is my favorite.

It's filled with action (finding myself driving late at night through twisty mountain roads while being followed since I am a line of defense between a famous actor and his over adoring fan), adventure (Escorting a VIP through a convention and keeping the fans at bay so they could get to a meeting which launched the next part of their career), romance (anything with Peter and me), birth (Caroline), deaths (More than I care count for this year), and exciting chases (and if you don't think sprinting after a fleeing, yet laughing, two year old across a busy parking lot isn't exciting, then you don't know from exciting).

It has a vast, even sprawling supporting cast filled with peculiar and memorable characters, it's long-running, I'm the main character, and I have absolutely no idea what' s going to happen next. But I can't wait to find out and I hope it never ends. Or if it does, I don't want to be there when it happens.

Wow. This is a very unique way to look at one's life, and I find I can do it with my own :)

Well life is an adventure. *grin*

I have to give Peter credit for giving me the idea. It came up when we were talking about something else and I thought he was right.

Yes! Life is an adventure! I think too many people have lives but don't actually live, don't actually pursue their dreams or find joy in the little things.

Yesterday, someone on my friends page quoted Ferris Bueller, "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it."

This has become entwined with a thread in my head that I've been working on and was teased out a little yesterday, and is being teased out more today. Thankies :)

How so?

I know this year has not been kind to you and I hope next year is much better.

Thank you.

I have to remind myself of this when I get down on life. We are so lucky to be alive esp. if you stop and thing all the things that had to happen for YOU to be here.

So who would you pick to play you in the movie?

And I so want details of some of this!

Kristen Johnson (Sally Solomon in 3rd Rock from the Sun)

Some I have written before and others are yet to be told.

The actor with the stalker was the late Chris Reeves.

The VIP tale I have not told yet and really can't unless I get permission from all parties that were involved.

Chris Reeves was the awesome! (not that I would stalk him -- or anyone)

Thank you.

As I said in comments above, it was a conversation with my husband that really made it work in my head.

Nice job!

Thanks.

I have always said that if I were to die today, I would go out knowing that I had a good life with a lot of fun in it. I hope for a much longer run with more adventure in it.

I think that we sometimes forgot that we are on a great adventure.

It's really true that we are the stars of our own stories if not the director/writer.

Isn't Joe's success amazing. Saw 'The Changling' last week and thought it was just so well written.

A friend said to me once that we're all just an infinitely bored god, split into parts, dreaming. One day, we will come back together and share all our stories. I find that strangely comforting.
