I had a very odd night because Caroline fell asleep for a nap about 5:00pm and awoke at 1:00am. Peter slept downstairs since Caroline was in our bed. She was awake so we watched a movie together and watched the cable box flip back to 2:00. About 6:45 she went to the potty and then downstairs where Peter was awake and he gave her breakfast since she hadn't eaten in over 15 hours.

So I got up at 8:00 but I think there is a nap later in the afternoon for me. I do know that laundry is very high on my list.

I have to take a picture of Treat. His undercoat was so matted that they had to shave him to get rid of all the matted fur. He is not that fat. He is not a svelte cat but nor is he the monster we thought he was. At least we will be able to really monitor his weight until the fur comes back in. It gives me a chance to brush him so we don't have this problem again.

What is SNL going to do after the election is over? Last night's opening was just spiffy. And I have to say that this crop of candidates has shown a good sense of humor. I still think that the attack ads were over the top but the ability to laugh at one's self shows that they still have their souls.

I am grateful for what sleep I did get.

they'll never run out of things to poke fun of on SNL...

*ready for the bloody election* *absentee voter*..

and the Prop 8 crap's gotten ridiculous up here.

Same block, same street one day people with Yes on Prop 8 signs, then down the street on an overpass - people with No on Prop signs...and if it wasn't for the fact there are kids within the protesters - could have gone nasty... Plus whatever signs gets posted up - the opposition group tears it down and posts theirs up the following day.

But either way -- it'll be in the court system...with no resolution anytime soon.

as for president..doesn't matter who wins - it'll be interesting

SNL stands for what?

As far as time change, my computer does it automatically, I have to change the one on my night table though, and get someone to take care of my talking clock, the font is too small to figure out which button is which (you woudl think would you?)

SNL stands for Saturday Night Live.

And you would think that if it is a talking clock you would make the font as big as possible.
