And I am having some serious remembering of that day in 2001. So I am probably going to be a bit jumpy until I know he is safely back on solid ground.

For those of you who joined us more recently, I was in New York City when the planes hit the towers. I was working in the Bertlesmann building which was at Broadway and 45th.I have a lot of memories of that day I have written about them in previous blogs.

I have also written about My Good Deed which is an organization to honor all those who were there that day through good deeds. And it doesn't have to be anything big. Pick up a piece of trash that is not yours. Plant a tree. Hugs someone that needs a hug. Call someone you have been meaning to call.

Today is all about getting ready for me to join Peter in LA. We have the kids sitters in place. I have to stock the larder and clean up some parts of the house. I also have to buy shoes that go with my dress for the wedding we are attending and get my hair redone.
