The people who run this convention are very good at it. We could get questions answered and problems solved quickly and efficiently. After getting our badges, we found Peter's table in Artist Alley and set up.

Caroline lasted until about 3:30 but then just didn't want to hang around the convention anymore so Ariel and I took her back to the hotel room. I went back to the convention while Ariel took some time on the Internet and Caroline just took some time to play. Peter had a number of autographing and he signed pretty consistently through out the day. His last obligation was a panel on the X-books which was a Q &A where they got a lot of really good questions.

Today I think is going to be more about the city rather than the convention for Caroline and me. We have been given some good places to go and do things that she would be interested in.

I will say that we have been getting our exercise in. Toronto is very pedestrian friendly.

I am grateful for a well run convention.

Has anyone pointed you at the Beaches yet? If you have time, it's a fantastic walking neighbourhood. There's Queen St. East with lots of shops and cafés, and the boardwalk right along the lake. I lived there for three years and still miss it terribly, so I try to push everyone who travels to TO to go there. :-) If you don't have a car, take the 501 streetcar to its eastern end (Neville Park--don't take one that goes to Greenwood or Connaught 'cos that's a short-turn). Or take the Bloor-Danforth line to Main Street and then the 64 bus to Queen.
