puppetmakerWe are in Toronto. The drive was not too bad. The border crossing hasn't changed much except that they scan our passports in addition to the usual questions.
We are getting ready to go to the convention center and get our badges. Caroline has a couple of horrible bug bites including one on her elbow that looks pretty inflamed but we can see the bite and know what to do.
We told Caroline that we were in Canada which is another country. She smiled big and said "I love Canada!" So this is her first visit outside the US.
Not much else to say. The hotel is nice. We are happy to not be driving.
I am grateful that the first leg of our trip went smoothly.
