According to the saying they are free.
But there are good things you can buy. I have been told so over and over on TV and the Internet. And it must be true right?
I mean that really cool phone. If I had that really cool phone then I would never get lost and I would always be able to find a good restaurant while watching one of my favorite movies. Or I can listen to my favorite tunes while I walk across the street because I have this cool phone, no one would dare hit me.
Or that car that I can talk to and it does stuff for me. That would make me happy. I could call people and hear the songs I want to hear. Right? Of course the programming of these things are such that you have to talk very precisely or it does squat.
Or those new drugs that will help me sleep, feel happy, have lower cholesterol, lower blood pressure, or have better sex. Of course there are the side effects, which are pretty scary but I bet my doctor can give me a pill that will make me feel better about that too.
Or that TV series that is the feel good series of the season....What? It is cancelled after two episodes? How sad.
Oh here comes Caroline and she says she needs a big hug and kiss......
I'm back. Gosh I feel better. Hugging my little girl as she whispers that she loves me makes me feel like nothing else.
Having my husband consult me on a project he is working on makes me feel good. He trusts what I have to say and uses my input to help him. His love makes me feel good. I feel safe and secure. I can talk to him about anything. It took me a long time to find someone like him but I am glad I waited.
Here comes the kitty brigade. They settle in their usual places around me. They all have their spots that they claim. They purr and want their heads scratched. They are very soothing and the purrs just take the tension away.
The flowers are blooming and spring is in the air. I love being able to go out into my yard and putter around. I think I am going to take a walk and just admire the scenery.
Oh there is the perfect solution to that puppet I was working on. It is amazing how much faster my brain is when it is happy.
Life is good.
