I wish you lots of hippo birds two ewe. ( we use to give each other Boyton cards like clockwork)

Mary Aileen has been with me through thick and thin. She knowns more of my personal history than anyone other than my immediate family.

You're lucky to have a Mary Aileen in your life. She sounds like someone with whom you would have exchanged the Boynton card "Bear with me. It's just a stage I'm going through", with the appropriate illos.

I like the expression "longest friend". It fits the connection/relationship I have with The Esteemed FRM.
