Short entry this afternoon

Been busy with some web stuff that I didn't realize that I hadn't posted until now.

We are going to have some people over to the house for the SuperBowl. It should be fun. Half the group follows football and half doesn't.

I keep thinking it is Thursday but I then realize that it is Friday.

It is raining and cold which makes it a good day to stay inside.

So how are y'all doing?

I am grateful for sporting events.

We had our third power outage in two days which is putting me further behind on tasks which require electricity, but has given me the chance to take a nap. So I'm just getting my day really started now.

Michael and I will be watching the Superbowl. I'll probably make a crockpot full of meatballs and we'll snack on that through the day. Suchparty animals we are. [rueful grin]

I'm trying to work through several things in my mind so I can get in the state of mind I want to be in rather than the one I have been in.

Other than that, things are going fairly well. Rich and I are going to stay home to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday. We'll make our usual array of goodies. No alcohol for me this year, but maybe I can pick up some non-alcoholic goodies that I can enjoy instead.

Sitting here in an apartment in Romania, trying to finish this cursed novel! Also, still a bit jet-lagged, one full week later. :(
