This is a leap year so my buddy Katie will be turning 10 on February 29th. I remember celebrating her 5th birthday way back when. We found cool stuff for her that worked for both 5 and 20.
Last night we went bowling and then to the neighbors to ring in the New Year which was nice and quiet and walking distance. We started the New Year watching an awards presentation to Billy Crystal (Mark Twain Award) and then Monty Python which is a good way to start the New Year by laughter.
Today is going to be rather quiet. We have seen most of the movies we want to see that are in theaters. The weather is rainy and cold but not cold enough for the precipitation from turning into ice or snow. I want to watch the Tournament of Roses Parade which I have been watching since I was a little tyke.
I hope that everyone had a good New Years Eve and got home or where ever they were going safely.
I am grateful for a chance to try something new.
