It is a fine day for things to do inside. Outside is rather nasty and there are not very visible patches of ice. I know since I skidded on two of them on my way to get the paper.

Which is a good thing since I have plenty to do inside today and I am sure I can find some fun stuff for Caroline to do inside as well. One of the cats poked his nose out the door and did not make a run for it as he usually does. I think he even knows that this is a day to sit inside.

Now I know that all we have are isolated ice patched and a lot of wind and rain where other people are getting pounded with snow and ice. Or they are digging out of snow or ice right now. To those people go my sympathies. I don't even want to think what our street would look like if it were snow or ice right now.

Speaking of indoor activities, for you Doctor Who fans who haven't found it yet, there is this really cool Doctor Who advent(ure) calendar that they have been doing the month of December. I made the angel last night. But they have had teaser trailers, conversations with various cast members, crafts, and some cool games. Whoever is there point person on this site, they are really good at this.

We finished up the 2006 Robin Hood TV series and look forward to seeing the second season. Good acting and fun writing and some really bad puns. So that is one DVD series down and a couple more to go. I think we are going to pick up Sapphire and Steel next or Beauty and the Beast. Peter and I still need to finish HEX but we don't think that is appropriate for Ariel yet. Torchwood will be starting up soon. I have been mostly spoiler free except the big ones.

Off to turn on some lights (it got dark) and get some work done. Let's be careful out there.

I am grateful for indoor activities.
