Probably during DragonCon and defiantly after DragonCon I was running a low fever that was sucking any energy I had into the void. I haven't felt myself in a while. This morning I woke up and for the first time in a while, I felt rested and not just getting up because my eyes opened and that is what you are suppose to do when your eyes open. It will be nice to go through the day without feeling like I am going through the motions. I haven't taken my temperature this morning and considering the past week I probably should.

The weather outside is a little cooler too. That could be part of it. It has been humid and hot the past couple of days but a bunch of thunderstorms moving through yesterday seems to have taken the humidity down to something reasonable.

So I am going to sort out some stuff that we brought back from DragonCon and get to work on a number of swap dolls that have been stacking up. I think I know what order I need to do them in. I also want to revise the clothing on the dolls I took to DragonCon. It was a first pass at clothing really but I have costumes for each in my head that I want to do.

I am grateful for waking up and feeling human again.

I'm glad you're feeling better. Being tired all the time really sucks.

Allergies, perhaps? 'Tis the season, and Georgia and parts south are notorious in that regard. A bad enough reaction to pollen from some sort of late-summer grasses might be enough to trigger a lowgrade temp. And by the time you got home, similar grasses might have been kicking in up north, thus prolonging the reaction.

Another thing that makes me think allergies might be a possibility is that you better after a heavy thunderstorm, which tends to settle pollen.

I'm sorry to read that you've been under the weatha...but glad you feel better now. So many of my friends have picked up illnesses as summer eases its' way into autumn.

Take good care of yourself!

Isn't it such a relief when a fever breaks?

I'm enjoying the weather, too. I have the windows open to air out the damp and mustiness, not just in my house, but in my brain.

By the bye, did you get my e-mail that I sent on Friday? No rush if you're busy; I'm just concerned that Yahoo & GMail are up to their usual tricks.

I did get it. I was waiting to get an answer from Peter on whether we are going which hinges on whether we are going to Florida for a convention in about a week. Guess what, I still don't know.

Not to worry. It's actually a relief just to know you got it. We seemed to have a hiccup with the business e-mail last week, which also runs off of Yahoo.

I'll be patient.
