Tomorrow I will post the New Who Review for "The Shakespeare Code" which I rather liked.
I would like to thanks all the people who make Shoreleave possible. We had a great time as usual.
The drive back from Shoreleave was very nice. We hit almost no traffic and because of our one stop at our favorite bakery in New Jersey gave us just the delay to avoid a mess on Long Island.
Sunday at Shoreleave was rather quiet for me. Caroline needed to nap so I didn't see Mystery Trekkie this year but I will when we get the DVD of the performance. Saturday was nice. I had a couple of panels and caught up with a couple of friends. The afternoon and evening were taken up with the costumes. Once we were done, I pulled off my Vincent face carefully and removed what I could of the spirit gum. I went down to the dance and spent most of my time outside of the dance catching up with people. I came down from my adrenalin rush and started feeling very sleepy so I said my good nights and went to bed.
Peter is working at getting the video of the Beast sketch on You Tube as well as Dora Croft.
Caroline keeps asking when she is going to see her cousins again. The three little girls played very well together. I have a feeling I see the beginnings of the next generation of Shoreleave posse (Ariel and her gang being the previous one). Ariel had a blast with her friends. And we knew where they were and what they were up to. Parents of other kids who were part of the group knew that we could tell them where their kids were. Also Ariel, 'Rina, and Danicah were great about taking care of the little ones so the adults could do what they needed to do.
This week is about catching up on some dolls I owe people and cleaning the house before we go on vacation. Next week is our vacation and then I am working hard at my stuff for DragonCon. I know what I am going to do, I now need to execute it. I do need to send in my paperwork today.
I am still a little brain fried from the convention. I figure another good nap and I'll be back to normal (or what passes for normal).
I am grateful for this past weekend.
