puppetmaker | Lurching towards Shoreleave 2007

I am doing pretty well on the costumes. I hope to have everything done by the time I go to bed this evening which gives me Thursday to pack up this monster and do a few prep things for the contest. I really should be keeping a piece of paper and a pencil next to me so I can jot down the things that keep popping up in my head. I am further along that I have been in previous years and I didn't really cut down on the number of costumes.

I will be on a couple of panels this year. That should be fun. I need to dig up some stuff for the panel on Star Wars Costuming. I did a couple of the "non-fiction" books so I got up close and personal with all the information on the costumes and props then. Also I want to see if any of my DK books are around since they had great pictures to work from. I may bring Ariel's David Tennant Doctor Who doll to my Doctor Who panels.

Caroline is excited about going. She knows her cousins are going to be there and that there is a pool. Also she gets to hang with Ariel's friend 'Rina which she has been telling us twice a day that she is looking forward to seeing her. Ariel is of course excited about going. She had her days already planned out including what she is going to wear and eat.

So a lot to do today and more tomorrow then Friday we are off to Maryland.

I am grateful that I am as far as I am on the outfits.
