The other day while I was driving around with Caroline, she commented on the fact that my truck was dirty and needed a bath. I asked if she wanted to help me give the truck a bath. She was really enthusiastic about the idea. Yesterday morning Caroline, Ariel and I did just that. I got everything ready and we proceeded to give my truck a bath. We wisely put Caroline in her swimsuit and she had a blast helping me get the low places on the truck. She was very good at it too.

So today we have rain and more rain. The forecast is for more rain into tomorrow which is longer than originally predicted. Doesn't matter to me, I have a clean truck which I also got to wax. This took a lot longer than I thought it would. It's a small pick-up but it has a lot of area to cover. Today is an inside day for us. I am figuring out what craft project that Caroline and I are going to do. Currently she is having her Pinky Dinky Doo doll tell her Tyler and Mr. Guinea Pig dolls a made-up story about a zebra and a giraffe. (This probably makes sense to those of you who have preschoolers and Noggin).

Today I work on my short story and Peter works on his (Keith we're getting there promise) and I am trying to get started on the Shoreleave big costume since we are 6 weeks from Shoreleave. I am not entering the Art Show this year. I really don't have anything new to sell or really much time to get anything done. I think DragonCon is my next show I'll be premiering the Fairy Grandmothers there.

I am grateful for all the fun that Caroline had washing the truck.

Erik has a little car wash toy that has the following jingle that it sings:

The dirty cars go in
And they come out clean
They're the cleanest cars
That you've ever seen
At the car wash, yeah!

The title of this post immediately had that song going through my head. Wow, you can really tell I'm a mom, eh? :)

Yep.

I swear we get a whole new language when we become mommy and some the phrases that come out are really funny out of context.
