Your choice if you want to do it but I would be interested in your responces.

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want -- good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

I remember my fascination when I first laid eyes on you at DragonCon (which you had to remind me of). You had that Pecard puppet that was so well executed that I thought you bought it someplace. I think I remember asking where you got it and you telling me that you made it. I was IMpressed.

Thanks. I knew we had met and when you told me that you had done security at D'Con it all fell into place.

I remember sitting at PhilCon a few years ago, waiting for Peter's reading, and seeing you walk in, pushing a stroller with Caroline in it and (I think) Ariel walking near by. I that you seemed a bit tired, but you also sat happily to the side. Caroline didn't fuss at all through the reading and I wondered, briefly, if I'd ever dare bring a little one to a Con.

And then, when Gary told me I needed to come over to popfiend's friending frenzy to meet you, there was that moment of recognition.

Of course, there have been a lot of less anonymous moments since then. Your supporting me when things with Teddy get too much, reading your Who reviews and thinking "We should talk Who sometime", wishing I had your talent with puppetry... And here's hoping that it's just the beginning of more memories.

Here Here.

I remember that panel. Caroline has learned to behave at conventions but she has been going to them since she was 3 months old.

I remember playing Robin Hood in my back yard with my brother's bows. We never did figure out what those mysterious beeps were.

I remember the time you patted Patrick on the head and went "pat pat pat."

And Patrick looked at you and patted you on the head saying "Kathy Kathy Kathy."

That about sums up our family, really.

Hi, I read your exerpt on Vonnegut, good for you. Not often I see real feeling or sentiments expressed through this web. (Maybe I should use a different search engine!!) For all the information thrown back and forth it can be a cold place. It's good to come across blogs like this, keep it up.

We had the reception there. It was a lot of fun. George Takei actually inquired about the Tavern the last time I saw him. I told him that it was doing well.

You know it is Jeff's fault that we had the reception there. I was at a wedding there and Jeff told me that if I ever got married I could use the Tavern too. I held him to it.

We have met a couple of times usually when I came through the Tavern to see a show with my parents when I happen to be in town longer than a convention.

I've met you once, under circumstances I'd rather not think about at this moment. You were wonderful to talk to, I loved hearing about the puppets and I'm in awe that it's what you get to do for a living! Hearing the story about Caroline and the tiara made me smile and still does just thinking about it.

:hugs:

I'm glad we met. I wish it had been under better circumstances.

That story of Caroline and the Tiara is a favorite of mine too. She does have her fashion sense as strange as it may be at times.

My first memory of you was in email form, and you were offering your services as a panelist. Of course, I can always use panelists, and the rest is history.

I am amazed by your breadth and depth of experience in so many areas. I always enjoy talking with you, or listening to you talk on a panel.

And as I was getting older and thinking of kids, when I thought about how that would fit into my life, I also thought of you and Caroline. I knew I could make it work too. So, here's to little girls.
