I really need to wear my glasses when I am on the computer. I think I would cut some of my headaches right out since I am betting they are eyestrain rather than other causes. I do know that my sinuses are not happy with me right now which causes all kinds of fun face pain. I tried an allergy solution yesterday and I am trying Sudafed today to see if I can take the edge off of that. I know that I am getting some tension headaches recently but considering all that has happened I don't find that too unusual. That is a matter of relaxing a bit. A couple of deep breathes and some focus meditation to get rid of the tension and that will be fine or a long hot bath.

I want snow gosh-darn-it. The weather folk had all kinds of dire predictions of what we would wake up to this morning including the world being a giant ice rink but none of this came to fruition in our area. We now have the possibility of flurries all day but I have been watching the radar and all the moisture has been dissipating before it hits shore. The sky looks like snow. The wind smells like snow but we have no flakes to show for it. *Sigh* Selfish of me I know, but I just want to see as well as feel weather.

So it is Colts vs. Bears. Peter is saying Bears because they have the claws and it will get Stephen Colbert's knickers in a knot. The Bears just ran over the Saints. That game was lop-sided from the coin toss to the final play. In my opinion that Colts didn't win, the Pats lost. It was their game and then the wheels came off the wagon and the Colts surged back which given a chance they will do. The Pats then took the lead and lost it again. Solid game with a lot of what-the-f**k moments to savor. I really think that this game is going to be more exciting than the Super Bowl itself.

Peter and I saw Pan's Labyrinth yesterday. Brilliant film but not quite what I expected from the trailers. I'm going to keep it spoiler free but I will say that the trailers made me think it was going to be more like Henson's Labyrinth but there was more gritty reality with the situation the girl found herself in at the mill. Doesn't matter at all. That is a solid film that deserves an Oscar. Great casting. The effects were wonderful too. I would recommend that if you are a bit emotional, take some tissues or grab some napkins. You are going to need them. I am waiting to see who is going to pull off Pan at a costume call.

I am in the art show at Farpoint and once I can find the paperwork I am going to be a LunaCon as well. Then I plan to round out the year with Shoreleave and Dragon*Con. I am not sure if there will be another opportunities this year. I hope so. I know I have a couple of doll opportunities this year as well.

I hope y'all are having a good day.

I am grateful that Caroline is totally potty trained. (She even gets up at night to go)

Take my snow, please!

You are welcome to some of my snow, heh. It had started to settle but we got a few inches to compensate yesterday.

If you'd like, I could take your work to the ComicCon art show in San Diego. We're driving so it'd be no problem. Paperwork is up on the site for the show if you're interested. My motives are partly selfish- I might wanna buy some of it!

I need to think about it but thanks for the offer. I'm learning towards the yes because it is a new market for me.

What do you think might sell there?

I'm still processing Pan's Labyrinth in my head. Someone described it as Alice in Wonderland meets Fight Club. I don't think that's entirely accurate. There's a lot in this movie to pick apart. I don't think I'll be done talking about it for a while.

We also saw Pan's Labyrinth this weekend. I really liked it- it was beautiful to look at and had a nice little moral lesson at the end.

I already sent in the paperwork for the LunaCon art show. A full table this time. Maybe we'll wind up side by side again!

Speaking of LunaCon--room?

I am cautioning you that I will have Caroline with us and you would probably be better off especially if you are having sleep problems. She is an early bird and very cheerful in the morning. But if you are game, I am.

Let me think about it some more and get back to you in email. How is she in the (late) evening? That's my problem time.

Thanks for the heads-up on Pan's Labryinth. I'd been planning to rent it and still will. I hadn't realized there'd be much nonfantasy world material such as the mill. Still sounds lavish.
